Stroke: Why Every Minute Counts (Act F.A.S.T.)
A stroke is a brain attack. Recognising it early and reaching hospital fast can save a life — and prevent disability.
A stroke happens when blood supply to part of the brain is cut off. Brain cells begin to die within minutes, so fast treatment is critical to limit damage.
